Philosophy
We believe that every
child has within them the capacity to improve. We are committed to
helping each of our patients to succeed - and achieve their
potential. The most effective approach for success is one that
stresses early intervention, open communication & family
involvement, and a fun, playful environment where children are
relaxed and more receptive.
Early Intervention
Early intervention is
very important to the success of your child. Simply stated, it is
easier to prevent than to correct. If you wait until your child
develops poor habits it can take much longer to achieve success.
Open Communication
and Family Involvement
Our therapists take a
collaborative approach, working with the family, physicians, and
other specialists to meet your child's needs. At the end of every
session, you will meet with your child's therapist to discuss the
progress of your child and receive suggestions on how you can aide
your child in his or her development at home.
Fun, "Playground"
Atmosphere
We have found that
when children receive therapy in a fun and relaxing environment,
they are able to progress much more rapidly and with greater
success compared to more traditional settings. By creating a fun
and inviting atmosphere, your child will come to therapy relaxed
and ready to work.
