Hal Hunsaker, Clinical Director, MS CCC-SLP
Hal Hunsaker is a certified speech language pathologist and serves as the Achieve Center's Director of Therapy. Hal has provided bilingual (English-Spanish) speech language pathology services to both children and adults in Eastern Washington since 1997.
Hal has been recently recognized for his work in treating individuals with swallowing disorders. He was selected as one of five speech language pathologists nationally to instruct and certify therapists in VitalStim therapy. Hal also specializes in the treatment of autism, neurological impairments and language disorders, and has extensive experience working in schools, hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation settings.
He enjoys sports and spending time outdoors with his family. Hal and his wife Traci are the parents of five children: Jorden, Ryen, Averi, Gabe and Luke.
Hal holds a Masters degree in communication disorders from Eastern Washington University and a Bachelors degree from Brigham Young University.
Ryan Edwards, MA CCC-SLP
Ryan Edwards is a certified and bilingual speech-language pathologist at the Achieve Center. He enjoys working with the pediatric population in helping them achieve their limitless potential through communication.
He and his wife and daughter live here in Wenatchee. When not at work, he loves to spend time with his family and has a passion for playing and following sports.
Ryan received his Master’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Washington State University. He also holds a BA in Communicative Disorders from Utah State University and a BS in Business Management from Utah Valley University.
Jean Richtsmeier, MS CCC-SLP
Jean is a native of Spokane, Washington and a graduate of the University of Washington with a Masters Degree in Speech Pathology. She and her husband, Tom, have five grown children and six grandchildren.
Jean has been fortunate to practice speech pathology in Idaho, New Mexico, and Washington State with experience in schools, hospital, home health, and community based clinics. Communication is power; and all of her past and current clients have powered her love of this profession.
Tom and Jean share a love of hiking, cross-country skiing, and gardening. The only thing better is showing grandchildren these activities. She says, "Let’s all enjoy our beautiful outdoors, then come over to the Achieve Center and we’ll talk about it!"
Shana Anders, PT, DPT
Shana Anders is a physical therapist at the Wenatchee Achieve Center. She has been practicing physical therapy in the Wenatchee Valley since 2010. She continues to build a relationship with other pediatric therapists in the region and strongly feels that a coordinated, family-centered approach to physical therapy is essential for the success of any child.
Shana and her husband Jeremy are avid Wenatchee Wild hockey fans, active in the community, and both involved with the Washington State Apple Blossom Festival and the Wenatchee Central Lions Club.
Shana holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Puget Sound and a Bachelors of Science from Seattle Pacific University.

Patty Garcia, SLPA
Patty was born and raised in the Wenatchee Valley. She attended Eastmont High School and then received her Bachelor's degree from Washington State University. She is bilingual (English-Spanish).
Patty and her husband Steve love to travel. In her spare time, Patty is an independent beauty consultant for Mary Kay.
Jacob Buchanan, SLPA
Jacob graduated from Eastern Washington Universitywith a Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders in 2006. He started with the Achieve Center in 2011.
In his spare time, Jacob enjoys being outdoors with his wife and five children.
Kim Crossley, SLPA
Kim is a licensed Speech and Language Pathology Assistant. Holds a degree in Child Development and Speech and Language Pathology Assistant. She has been with Achieve Center since 2008. Kim enjoys working with children and young adults. Kim's special interest are ASL, feeding, autism, articulation and phonological disorders. Its is truly a joy to share and be part of their success. I feel truly blessed to be in a profession that I love.
Outside of work Kim enjoys sports, cooking, traveling with her husband and shopping with her beautiful daughter.
Krystin Cook, SLPA
Krystin Cook is a certified speech and language pathology assistant. She is excited to work with children and be a part of helping them to communicate and learn. Krystin has a special interest in pediatric feeding and swallowing, ASL, and cleft lip and palate.
Krystin is from Kennewick, Washington, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Washington. Krystin plans to continue her education in speech language pathology and is hoping to get into a master's program.
Krystin enjoys spending time with family and friends. She loves arts and crafts, baking, shopping, and playing with animals. She is enjoying getting to know the Wenatchee area and meeting new people.
