Paula Turner, MS CCC-SLP
Paula Turner is a certified speech-language pathologist and serves as Spokane’s Director of Therapy. Paula has extensive experience with pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders.  Prior to joining the Achieve Center, she worked at Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital in acute care as well as the outpatient Feeding and Growth Clinic, where she participated in team evaluations, modified barium swallow studies, and served as a team consultant to create plans and recommendations for referring physicians, therapists, and families.

Paula has also served as adjunct faculty at Heritage College and as a supervisor for graduate students at the University Hearing and Speech Clinic, both as an on-site and off-site supervisor. She enjoys working with all pediatric patients and believes that family involvement is key to a child’s success in therapy.

Outside of work, Paula enjoys a wide variety of activities.  Born and raised in Canada, she is an avid hockey fan and loves the outdoors. She is actively involved in her church and community activities and enjoys hiking, camping, and biking with her husband, Todd.

Paula holds a Masters degree in communication disorders from Eastern Washington University and a Bachelors degree from Brigham Young University.

Tammy Spence, MS CCC-SLP
Tammy is a certified speech-language pathologist and has extensive pediatric experience with a special interest in swallowing and articulation/language disorders.  She believes in the power of technology to aid clients towards successful therapy and continually seeks new ideas and programs to help her patients succeed.

As an active member of her community, Tammy seeks out opportunities to serve, volunteering at the Salvation Army throughout her life.  A native of the Pacific Northwest, Tammy enjoys many outdoor activities with her husband Tyler.  She enjoys reading, shopping, and spending time with friends, family, her two pugs (Gunther and Tank).

Tammy holds a Masters degree in communication disorders from Eastern Washington University and a Bachelors degree from Washington State University.
